HOLLYWOOD ICONS JOIN MOMS FOR AMERICA IN LAUNCHING AMERICA’S LARGEST COMMUNITY THEATER INITIATIVE FOR NATION’S 250th BIRTHDAY

Launching a Nationwide Movement That Will Bring America’s Story to Thousands of Stages Across the Country.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – As America prepares to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, Moms for America is launching what is believed to be the largest community theater initiative created for America’s Semiquincentennial. Rather than licensing the production, Moms for America is giving Our American Story to the American people, inviting thousands of communities to join in telling America’s story during the nation’s 250th Birthday celebration.

Written by Moms for America Founder and President Kimberly Fletcher and Academy Award® winner Jon Voight, Our American Story is an inspiring theatrical production celebrating the people, principles, providence, and promise that have shaped the United States over the past 250 years.

The premiere production features specially produced video appearances by Gary Sinise, Jon Voight, Kirk Cameron, and Kelsey Grammer, woven throughout the live performance to complement local actors and musicians.

Following its world premiere on July 10, 2026, in Brigham City, Utah, the complete production package will be made available to schools, churches, civic organizations, homeschool groups, community theaters, veterans organizations, and patriotic organizations across the nation.

Instead of purchasing expensive production rights, participating communities will receive the script, professionally produced video segments, narration, production resources, and promotional materials needed to present Our American Story in their own communities.

Organizations may present the production using the professionally produced video performances and music provided, or they may incorporate their own actors, narrators, musicians, choirs, orchestras, bands, dancers, and volunteers – making every performance uniquely local while preserving the historical narrative and artistic vision of the production.

Voight said, “The idea was to provide a service so people would have something substantial to offer their community that is entertaining, educational, and an inspiring way to celebrate America’s 250th birthday in their own communities. We provided the structure so every community can tell America’s story in its own unique way.”

The initiative officially begins with the world premiere of Our American Story on Thursday, July 10, 2026, at Utah State University–Brigham City Campus in Brigham City, Utah. The world premiere is part of the US 250 Tour, a nationwide celebration featuring educational exhibits, immersive experiences, family activities, and patriotic programming that will travel throughout America during the nation’s Semiquincentennial.

New outdoor theatrical production written by Kimberly Fletcher and Jon Voight launches the nationwide US 250 Tour honoring America’s founding, faith, freedom, and enduring spirit.

BRIGHAM CITY, Utah – July 10, 2026 – As America prepares to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, a powerful new theatrical production will make its world premiere in Utah, launching what organizers hope will become one of the signature cultural celebrations of America’s Semiquincentennial.

Our American Story, written by Kimberly Fletcher, Founder & President of Moms for America and Academy Award® winner Jon Voight, will premiere on Thursday, July 10, 2026, at Utah State University–Brigham City Campus as a feature production of the nationwide US 250 Tour.

Blending cinematic storytelling, live performance, music, historical narration, and stunning visual production, Our American Story invites audiences on an unforgettable journey through 250 years of the American story – from the Pilgrims and the Founding Fathers to the heroes, innovators, and everyday Americans whose courage and sacrifice shaped the nation.

“This production isn’t simply about remembering our history,” said Kimberly Fletcher, Founder and President of Moms for America and co-writer of the production. “It’s about rediscovering the ideas that made America exceptional and inspiring a new generation to cherish the blessings of faith, freedom, and the American Dream.”

The outdoor premiere will feature appearances by Gary Sinise, Jon Voight, Kirk Cameron, and Kelsey Grammer through specially produced video presentations integrated into the performance.

Designed as both an educational experience and a patriotic celebration, Our American Story combines dramatic narration, theatrical staging, original music, historical imagery, and multimedia production to tell the story of America’s founding and the enduring principles that continue to unite the nation.

The production is a feature of the US 250 Tour, a traveling national celebration that will bring Our American Story and accompanying educational exhibits, family experiences, and patriotic programming to communities across America throughout 2026 as part of the nation’s 250th Birthday Celebration.

“Our hope is that families leave inspired – not simply by what America has accomplished, but by what still lies ahead,” Fletcher said. “The greatest chapters of the American story are still waiting to be written.”
